The city owns the grounds and the facility and has made this shooting range first, as a facility for city and county law enforcement to train, and secondly as a public service to our community at no charge. 

Idaho Fish and Game continues to be a financial supporter and a strong advocate of the safe use of firearms in the field, sponsoring Hunter Education classes and helping in making the Freedom Hall a reality.
